Environmental Dynamics: Natural Resource Availability for Livelihoods
Spatio-temporal variations in the availability of natural resources have important consequences for those whose livelihoods depend on them. NCCR North-South research in this area is conducted from a predominantly bio-physical and ecological perspective. Particular attention is paid to climate change and strategies for coping with its effects.
Studies are conducted in the Horn of Africa and in Central Asia, as well as in Southeast Asia, South Asia and East Africa.
