Institutions

The NCCR North-South research network comprises seven research institutions in Switzerland and some 130 universities, research centres and development organisations in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The NCCR North-South supports research leading to master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as post-doctoral research. Applied research is supported through small-scale, experimental development projects conducted by partner institutions as “partnership actions.”
