Governance & Conflict seeks to understand the complex processes of governance that play a role in transforming situations of conflict into a basis for cooperation.

Health & Environmental Sanitation aims at finding ways to integrate effective health and sanitation strategies into participatory planning processes.

Natural Resources in Sustainable Development explores potentials for making good use of resources like water, soil and biodiversity while maintaining standards for sustainable development.
